We host a monthly sourdough baking class! Step into our kitchen with chef/owner Ron Mendoza as he guides you through the process of baking a sourdough loaf at home. You’ll get insight into what we do on a daily basis and how you can apply some of those techniques to sourdough bread baking at home.
Our hands-on class will include starter maintenance, dough formulas, basic shaping skills, how to bake a loaf in your home oven, and discussing fermentation using natural leavens.
We’ll provide everything you need to bake with us and send you home with a proofing basket and a loaf to take home and bake the following day.
Class is from 5pm-8pm. We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before the class. This class takes place at our production kitchen at 479 Alvarado Street in downtown Monterey.
